The problem

Most pitching advice is a guess.

Two of the most common questions pitchers ask: “How do I improve my mechanics to increase velocity?” and “How do I make my pitches move more to strike out more batters?”

The problem is, most of the answers are subjective. They lack facts about where you are, where you need to get, and what you need to do.

How can you improve without knowing what the actual problem is? You might get lucky, but why leave your career to chance?

This 2-day camp takes the guesswork out of your mechanics, velocity, and pitch arsenal.

The pitching camp exceeded our expectations.

The pitching camp exceeded our expectations. Jared’s ability to break down a significant amount of complex data in a way that is easy to digest is the magic of this camp. Jared and the other instructors had a genuine interest in improving each camp member – in a world where many of the camps seem more like a money grab. This one did not – everyone was committed to providing value to each camp member. Lastly – the personalized work plan and all of the supporting data was amazing.

Objective feedback

Data to inform every decision.

01

Force plate delivery analysis

Axioforce force plates measure how much force you put into the ground in every direction, and the timing in both legs.

02

Pitch design session

Based on your physical bias and current arsenal, we improve your pitch shapes to optimize in-game performance.

03

Educational presentations

Over 2 days we present on pitching mechanics, pitch movement, and building a plan to improve.

You'll throw on Axioforce force plates that measure the force you put into the ground toward home plate, across your body, and straight down, plus the timing in both legs. That's how we see how much force you actually transfer up the chain and into the ball.

Every pitch is tracked with TrackMan and filmed with an Edgertronic camera, so you'll know exactly how and why your pitches move the way they do.

PCU helped save my career.

When I was released in the spring of 2024 by Cleveland, I found PCU and little did I know it was going to be a career changer for me. They helped dial me back in with my sweeper and helped shape my arsenal to be more than big league ready. I can without a doubt say PCU helped save my career and make me more prepared and understanding of my arsenal. They can, and will, help yours too.

I went home knowing exactly what I needed to work on.

It helped me better understand how I move and what I can do to improve any mechanics or movements to be a better pitcher. I went home with knowing what I need to work on and had drills and lifts and movements to help which I am confident that they will. Also learned about pitch design which was huge for me.

From throwing low 70s to touching low 80s.

My two days in Arizona were incredible. Jared’s knowledge is unparalleled to anyone I’ve ever met. We started with a bullpen on Axioforce and a presentation on every single aspect of pitching mechanics, then mound drills, a full body mobility workout (I swear I’ve never felt looser), and a pitch design presentation breaking down all of the TrackMan numbers and how they affect pitches. My personal evaluation showed me exactly what I needed to work on, and in my pitch design session Jared helped me develop my changeup, which I now think is twice as good as it was before the camp. Now almost two months later, my mechanics feel much cleaner and I’ve gone from throwing low 70s to touching low 80s and consistently hitting high 70s while throwing strikes. When Jared says he’s going to give you everything you need to be a better pitcher, he means it.

He brought my strikeout and swing and miss percentage up.

I came to Jared because I didn’t truly know how to use my offspeeds right and know what I was doing with them during bullpens and what to work on. Jared really broke it down for me and showed me what I can throw and how to execute my pitches. After going to his camp he has brought up my strikeout and swing and miss percentage up since this past fall and I really enjoyed the way he handled his camp and his athletes.

Jared is responsible for an enormous amount of the success I’ve had as a professional baseball player.

I spent my entire first professional season with Jared and it was fantastic. He was monumental for the beginning of my professional career. The first couple months of my season were horrible until Jared and I sat down to figure out a plan of attack and areas I can improve. Jared got me on a great track for the remainder of the season in which I was top 10 in multiple categories across minor league baseball.
