The problem
Most pitchers work hard. Few work on the right things.
Training without purpose
Most pitchers throw, lift, and hope. Without measuring where you actually stand, there's no way to know what's holding you back.
Generic programming
A template can't account for how you move, how strong you are, or what your arm actually does. Generic plans get generic results.
Lack of feedback
Most players lack a coach or system to give them feedback along the way.
In-person training at PCU fixes that: measure first, build the plan around you, and prove it's working.
How it works
A clear path from where you are to where you want to be.
01
Assess
Start with the free Pitching & Performance Assessment: movement screen, VALD force plates, arm strength, a TrackMan bullpen, and OVR sprint testing, with percentile rankings for your level.
02
Plan
Your assessment becomes your program: the throwing, strength, and mobility work that targets your biggest opportunities, not a template.
03
Train
Coached sessions in our Phoenix facility, with bullpens measured by TrackMan, Edgertronic, and Axioforce so every rep has feedback.
04
Retest
Measure again, compare against your baseline, and adjust. You always know what's working and what's next.

I wouldn’t be where I’m at in my career without him.
Jared is one of the most knowledgeable pitching coaches out there. Whether it be strength & conditioning, mobility work, mechanical adjustments or pitch design there’s no one better. He takes pride in his work and completely individualizes plans for each player’s needs. The care and attention to detail he has is evident on a daily basis. I wouldn’t be where I’m at in my career without him.

Is it a fit?
In-person training isn't for everyone.
It's for you if…
- You want to pitch at the next level: varsity, college, or pro
- You're willing to put in consistent work and follow a plan
- You want to understand why, not just what
- You can train at our Phoenix facility
It's not for you if…
- You want a quick fix without putting in the reps
- You're not open to changing how you train
- You're outside Phoenix (see Remote Training instead)

PCU helped save my career.
When I was released in the spring of 2024 by Cleveland, I found PCU and little did I know it was going to be a career changer for me. They helped dial me back in with my sweeper and helped shape my arsenal to be more than big league ready. I can without a doubt say PCU helped save my career and make me more prepared and understanding of my arsenal. They can, and will, help yours too.

Frequently asked questions
How much does in-person training cost?
Pricing depends on how often you train and what your plan includes. After you apply, a coach will walk you through the options that fit your goals and schedule.
Who is it for?
Youth, high school, college, and professional pitchers who want a plan built around their own data.
Do I need to do the assessment first?
Yes. The assessment is where we start with every athlete. It gives you, and us, a clear baseline so your plan targets what will move the needle most, and it's included in your training costs.
Can I train in-season or with my team's program?
Yes. Your plan is built around your schedule and workload, and adjusted during the season so it works alongside your team.
What if I'm not in Phoenix?
Remote Training gives you a custom program reviewed and adjusted using your own video and data, from anywhere.
